Ring 'Mountains'

Having a strong relationship towards nature? Like to go hiking in the mountains? If you like it, then you should put a ring on it! The ring ‚Mountains‘ represents a mountain line with snowy mountain peaks. The different transparencies and tones blue and white contribute to the cool and icy look of the ring. As the ring is molded and subsequently treated by hand every ring is unique. But the design of the ring is not only inspired by nature – it is also inspired by the material its made from: epoxy resin. Depending on the amount of added pigments a certain transparency can be achieved. Next to that a subsequent treatment and polishing provides the shiny and glassy look. The ring ‚Mountain‘ is thus a good example of how the chosen material and its possible treatments can affect the design process. Depending on the material choice the shape, surface and color design can be strongly influenced.
